The pandemic was transformative in many ways. One unique feature was the temporary suspension of provisions of Ontario's Limitation Act, which provided as much as a 183 day extension within which to issue a claim after the presumptive limitation would otherwise have run. But the party is almost over and soon the extension will no longer apply. We'll discuss the computation of time and explain why you have to be careful as September 14, 2022 approaches to ensure you don't miss limitations on any of your claims.
