Mauro is a Partner of Reeves Richarz LLP. Throughout his career, he has practiced exclusively in the areas of accident benefit (arbitrations and litigation) and bodily injury matters arising from motor vehicle accidents, including non-motor vehicle bodily injury claims. He has also acted for insurers in the defence of property/casualty and coverage disputes, including priority, loss transfer, and subrogation matters. Mauro has represented insurers and their insureds at arbitrations, both private and at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and at Superior Court proceedings.
Mauro received his Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from York University, graduating on the sessional academic achievement list. He attended Osgoode Hall Law School and worked as duty counsel in the Community Legal Assistance Program and as a prosecutor for the Ministry of the Attorney General while obtaining his degree. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002.
Mauro is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Defence Research Institute, Canadian Defence Lawyers, and the Advocates` Society.
